A USPS supervisor in Middletown, Connecticut has been sentenced to 9 months of “dwelling confinement” and a $20,000 wonderful after being caught stealing stuff like iPhones and “PlayStation and Nintendo gaming units”.
Through Polygon, 34 year-old Zoheb Deura, who has since resigned from the US Postal Service, was caught following an investigation by the U.S. Postal Service Workplace of Inspector Normal, who discovered that between the months of February and April 2020 Deura “stole quite a few packages, together with packages containing an Apple pc, PlayStation and Nintendo gaming units, an iPhone, footwear, and clothes objects.”
Deura was formally charged with embezzlement of mail by a U.S. Postal Service worker, which he pled responsible for on October 21, 2020.
